Since moving to the area, living near Shap has given me the chance to photograph the surrounding Lakes and Pennines. I’ve played with cameras since my teens, and fortunately, I’m now able to dedicate much more time to my photography. I’m drawn to finding something new in things that are often seen as ordinary or familiar. It’s often the simple things that catch my eye—a shape, a shadow, or just the way the light falls.
