Tim Watson
Tim travelled a lot when he was a child. He went to school in Cumbria before studying art in North Wales, followed by a Fine Art degree in Newcastle. He then went on to teach in North Wales before setting up an award-winning restaurant-hotel with an adjacent art studio (of course!). Tim works across a range of media, including acrylic, watercolour, inks and plaster collage. His mountain landscape work is well known and collected throughout North Wales. In 2019 he returned to live in Cumbria with his partner Cathryn to focus once more on his art at Brightside Barn in the beautiful Eden Valley. His latest landscape work is now becoming sought after locally, particularly those featuring Blencathra, the Lake District, Askham Fell, the Pennines and prehistoric megalithic sites.
