I perform as The Poetical Cellist. I'm available for pop-up and formal performances, as well as house concerts, weddings, and other ventures. I play a variety of solo music, from classical Bach to traditional Irish love songs and laments.
Many performances also involve poetry, in which case each piece, or set, has a poetical response to the music, involving a very direct engagement with the audience. A 2019 poetry collection was published as The Definitions of Kitchen Verbs.
I am very interested in collaboration with other artists across genres.
