Through the use of mixed media, I am exploring colour, texture and layering materials to create more expressive results.
I have spent many years focusing on edge to edge realism. I am learning to loosen my approach and trust in my instincts more and I am very happy with where it is taking me.
Inspiration for my personal work mostly comes from everyday life- often those subtle, ordinary moments that would slip past unnoticed, yet hold quiet significance.
