I love creating art in a variety of ways with a range of different media.
I paint commissions of people, pets, farm animals and wildlife, as well as landscapes, florals and buildings. I work a lot in pastels, watercolour and acrylics, but I love to add in pen work and brusho to create interesting and unique effects.
The local flora and fauna in the Eden Valley is one of my favourite subjects to let loose with. I really enjoy developing my style with bold, looser works to express the movement and characteristics of some of the beautiful wildlife in these parts.
I love to teach and pass on arty information to others, and I run workshops and demonstrations in a number of art groups and societies across the North West.
I run a local art class in Warcop and I have several online classes where people who would rather create from home can join in. Members range from complete beginners to the more experienced, and I work at keeping the sessions varied and informative with a fun and friendly atmosphere.
I will soon be offering art holidays and all-day workshops too in this lovely area.
