Eden Strummers are a Penrith-based music duo, formed in 2024 by Paul Wilson and Mike Ferneyhough out of a shared passion for six-string storytelling. Deeply rooted in the Eden Valley’s vibrant local music scene, our sound pairs acoustic foundations with expressive electric guitar work, reimagining classic blues, rock, and pop repertoire alongside original compositions that reflect our connection to the surrounding Cumbrian landscape.

Our artistic approach breathes new creative life into timeless tracks—ranging from vintage blues standards to 20th-century classics—while writing original songs like Wetsuit Blues and In the Big Ring, inspired by local culture and life in Cumbria.

Whether performing acoustic or acoustic/electric sets in historic local venues, recording at Stone Tone Studio, or contributing to regional open-mic gatherings, our focus remains on fostering genuine community connection through live music.
