Clare Parker

Clare Parker

Clare Parker is a multimedia artist working from her studio based in Low Mill, West Cumbria. Her work is inspired by all the beauty that surrounds her and a gratitude for life. She aims to share her passion for art through creating and teaching, one piece at a time.

Clare’s style can be described with the phrase ‘Less is More’. Her driving force is her own wellbeing and that of her audience, exploring ways to promote happiness and spread the joy of art with its innate ability to bring you into the present moment, like the practice of mindfulness.

Her latest achievement was sharing techniques in watercolours to a mixed ability group whilst on a ship. She embraced the challenges and found it extremely rewarding, coming home with a renewed love for humanity.

She delivers workshops, watercolour instruction, volunteers in Lowes Court Gallery, Egremont and facilitates a life drawing group at Florence Arts Centre, a participatory arts hub based in Florence Mine, Egremont.

Clare has exhibited her work around the country, and her pieces can be found in private collections around the world, including on a ship currently travelling the globe!
She is inspired by work that stirs deep emotion, feeding her soul!
