Caroline Lumsden

Caroline Lumsden is a painter working in oils and acrylic, with a focus on portraiture, figuration, interiors and still lives. She studied Fine Art and Design at Oxford Brookes University and Norwich University of the Arts, including study trips to Florence, Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin and subsequently worked as a freelance artist, exhibiting works in various galleries in Oxford, Norwich, Manchester and Paris.

Caroline's attention to detail, layered painting techniques, and expressive realism enable her to convey observations of everyday life, through colourful portrayals, imbuing her art with a timeless quality. Currently residing in the Lake District, her latest works depict interior scenes, animals and landscapes that reflect her profound appreciation for the natural world.
