My name is Rosa and I’m an artist filmmaker from Armathwaite, in the Eden Valley. My practice seeks to explore human//more-than-human intra-actions through the methodology of “sensory ecological ethnography”, a site-specific and embodied approach communicated predominantly through the medium of moving image.
I come from a Natural Sciences background which inspires much of my work - graduating from the University of Cambridge in 2021 with a First Class BA in the History and Philosophy of Science. I'm currently finishing an MFA in Creative Documentary by Practice at University College London, my graduation project being an experimental documentary interrogating ways of experiencing, sensing, and relating to/with the River Eden.
