Simon Whalley

I like to think I am an artistic photographer, I experiment. I like moments where the magical is entwined with the real.

I love nature and feel we are in danger of losing that connection to the elements. I hope my images bring joy and also challenge destructive behaviour.

Essentially I am an environmentalist, fighting to preserve the beauty of nature, for the days when my ashes are a mere whisper in others daily lives.

I’m often out and about, life's too short to miss the magic moments.

I’m not sure my story is important but I do believe that every story is equally important to others and that the human ego can be very destructive.

If you like my work come and have a look at my Gallery for Nature at Brougham Hall, CA10 2DE. We are an artistic community, with a great cafe and a lovely peaceful setting.

Come and say hello.
