I am a freelance artist and arts organiser based in Carlisle. I studied Art & Design at Kendal College in 2012, as well as completing a BA (Hons) in History and an MLitt in Archaeological Studies in in 2017 and 2019 respectively. My eclectic mixture of interests and qualifications provides endless inspiration for my artwork, as well as living in Cumbria, close by the beautiful landscapes of the Solway Coast and Lake District.
I work in a range of mediums (as many as I can get my hands on), including painting, sculpture, pottery and linoprinting. As a result of this, a lot of my work incorporates multiple mediums and I love to create mixed-media pieces that are as fully expressive as I can make them. I find inspiration everywhere and I feel this gives my work a uniquely personal feel.
As well as being a freelance artist, I also run StArt - a pop-up exhibition project in Carlisle, focused on the work of Cumbrian artists. I created this project in the hope that I would be able to give newer artists a chance to exhibit their work alongside already established artists, and thereby strengthen the artistic community in Cumbria.
I welcome commissions and invitations to work together with other artists and artistic networks - together we can create amazing things!
