Penrith Playhouse is the only permanent, Member run Theatre in Penrith, and thrives on the commitment of volunteers.
Penrith Players put on five to six shows a year besides involvement with others groups like North Cumbria Scriptwriters and EVAN. They own their own theatre, Penrith Playhouse, which is available for hire. It also hosts its own music night, Plug and Play, on the first Sunday of every month, except June, July, August.
