I was always involved with art at school and art was my main subject at teacher training college. I loved teaching art in primary schools but didn’t have time for my own art once I was working. When I retired I was able to develop my skills again and began with watercolour and then found my niche with pastels.
During lockdown I began making little driftwood houses and it just snowballed from there! I now split my time between pastels and my little houses. I love creating new ideas in both these mediums but sometimes throw in a bit of abstract acrylics.
