With no definite subject in mind I layer paint, crayon or collage, adding and scrubbing out till eventually something sparks my imagination. Leaving realism behind and disrupting the landscape allows for freedom. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t but it’s the creating that I enjoy and hey ho I can I can work again on top or start another.
