Bought up in Gloucestershire where I trained as a one stroke lettering artist.

Trained under Alexander O’Sullivan, a renowned calligrapher and letter cutter in stone and a member of the Craftsmen of Gloucestershire.

I moved to Cumbria in 1992 with partner Tony, where we started a business, Artware, specialising in artist materials and bespoke picture framing.

I am member of the Eden Valley Scribes and have been a member of Penrith Art Club for many years in a number of capacities.

Since retirement, I am delighting in vintage letterpress printing, as Artware Press. We produce cards with quirky quotations, letterheads and other short run printed work.
