Heather Hanna

I studied Fine Art at Leeds Polytechnic in the ‘70s, mostly making sculpture, then more recently completed an MA and PhD in Art History.

I love experimenting with colour and mark-making and use these to bring freedom and freshness into my paintings. I work in acrylic, oil/cold wax, and watercolour, usually on board or paper, and have recently begun some dry point and collagraph printing. The landscape and our human interventions in it fascinate and inspire me.
