Heather Barlett

A linguist turned artist, I have been impressed by the power of creativity to comfort and heal. I have enjoyed exploring drawing and illustrating, lettering and abstracts, and have found life drawing both rigorous and satisfying. Lockdowns and long shielding afforded me opportunities to research an interest in Celtic decoration. My preferred media include graphite, markers, ink, a range of crayons, line and wash and pastels. I am currently working on generating new sets of materials.
