I work primarily on fabric canvas using a variety of acrylic paints. Alternatively, I display pen sketches. However all my art is mainly focused on animals, which are represented through the bold colours portraying their strong personality characteristics. The basis behind my art is the true focus on the eyes and how they can be depicted as the pathway to the soul, the centre of being. This is similar to my aim for my art work to be displayed in the centre of people’s homes as a unique design complementing and embracing simplicity while creating a sense of revealing mystery. My entire concept of inspiration originated from my three daughters who I hope to inspire through the motivation and resilience I have shown throughout my life to get to the place I am now. My creations are a way for me to express the struggles I have experienced during the period of time settling into the UK, familial relationship struggles, and the strains the war in Ukraine has currently placed over my life. Although I may not have any standing qualifications in art, I enjoy drawing out my interpretations into creative designs to be shared by many within the community.
