I am a Designer maker working in Textiles & Mixed Media using a variety of techniques.
I love exploring shibori dyeing, shashiko stitching, needle felting, print making and embellishment with an emphasis on hand embroidery.
I make lots of different things depending on the process I'm using, the results may be accessories, jewellery, bags/boxes, sculpture or folklore inspired mannikins.
I like to include deadstock, vintage or unbleached fabrics and notions into my work.
I'm inspired by folklore, mythology, magic and mummery.
PGCE in Design & Technology.
BA (Hons) Textile Design/Mixed Media.
Experience of teaching both children and adults in a number of settings.
Trained in Mental Health issues and Safeguarding.
