If you are an artist, musician or creative professional living or working in Cumbria then we are delighted to welcome you as a member of the Eden Valley Artistic Network (EVAN). We pride ourselves on being inclusive and accessible. We bring artists together to meet, network and build professional relationships with other artists in the Eden Valley and North Lakes. To complete your membership please make arrangements to pay the membership fee using the details below. If you would like a profile page on our website follow the instructions below.

Set Up Your Profile

Send an artist statement, if you haven’t already included this in your application. This should be approximately 200 words.

Send up to 6 images.
Max file size 1mb (min 200kb) with a file name of your artwork title and medium used (if relevant).

Also send a profile image
This should be a suitable photograph or other representational image of you as an artist / organisation.

Why not join the EVAN Gallery?

EVAN has it’s own gallery in Penrith town centre with three large gallery spaces and artists’ studios. This is a fantastic opportunity for EVAN members to showcase their work at a very favourable rate and low commission on sales.

If you would like to display your work in the EVAN Gallery please note that Gallery members pay £20 per month and are committed to help with staffing duties. If you are interested in joining the Gallery please email Sarah Reid (Gallery Manager) in the first instance, who will add you to the waiting list and explain what’s expected from Gallery members. All members of EVAN are given the opportunity to display their work in the Gallery twice a year in the Spring and Autumn Open exhibitions. There is a hanging fee of £20 payable per exhibition for non Gallery members with no commission payable on sales. Entries are limited and are offered on first come first served basis.
