Amelie is an artist and printmaker based in Brampton, North Cumbria.
She is inspired by nature, wildlife and the countryside in which she lives.
Amelie enjoys using many mediums, however her favourites include lino printmaking and needle felting. She creates miniature felted British birds inspired by birds she sees in her garden and on woodland walks. She particularly loves the challenge of recreating their forms in miniature and appreciating their beautiful colouring and intricate plumage.
Her linocuts are produced using the single cut or the reduction method and feature many of her interests such as nature, plants and dog walks in the woods.
