Agaath is inspired by mountains and ice formations in Scotland, Europe, the Karakorum and Himalaya. She has been shown in exhibitions at Rheged, in London and in Newcastle. Her paintings have illustrated lectures and books, whilst postcards of her paintings have proved popular.
She lives and works in the Lake District and is inspired by images of mountains all over the world but particularly The Karakorum and Himalaya. Agaath has produced paintings for mountaineers of images important to them and reflecting their individual experiences.
Agaath's style is contemporary often portraying ice patterns in the natural landscape, for example the North Face of the Eiger and the Giant Meringue.
